The Patek Philippe Naviquartz clocks occupy a fascinating and relatively overlooked chapter in the manufacture’s history. Developed during the quartz era, these highly technical timepieces combined Patek Philippe’s traditional approach to precision with the cutting-edge electronic technology of their time.

Today, Naviquartz clocks appeal to collectors precisely because they stand apart from the better-known mechanical production of the Maison. Rare, technically distinctive and emblematic of the horological transition of the 1970s and 1980s, they offer an opportunity to collect an unusual piece of Patek Philippe history...where traditional watchmaking met the dawn of quartz technology.
